Verizon to delay 5G deployment two weeks, averting aviation safety standoff

WASHINGTON – Verizon Communications stated overdue on Monday it had agreed to a -week prolong in deploying C-Band wi-fi spectrum, heading off an aviation protection standoff that threatened to disrupt flights beginning this week.

“We’ve agreed to 2-week prolong which guarantees the understanding of bringing this nation our recreation-converting 5G community in January,” Verizon stated after extensive talks with the Federal Aviation Administration and other executive officers. The White Area, airways and aviation unions had driven Verizon to delay its deliberate Wednesday rollout.
