French cloud services saw cyberattacks increase by 630% in 2020

Cloud products and services in France saw cyberattacks build up by 630% through the first 12 months of the pandemic, according to after people had been compelled to work from house, in step with one knowledge security expert.

François Esnol-Feugeas, CEO of French corporate Oxibox, informed Euronews that the decision to impose obligatory teleworking came at a price.

“We noticed cyberattacks building up through 630% all the way through 2020 on public clouds and on undertaking clouds, which confirmed that attackers were taking benefit of the brand new state of affairs,” Esnol-Feugeas said.
